Acceptance of Terms
By installing and using the ManageBac Calendar Sync Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Extension.
Description of Service
ManageBac Calendar Sync is a free Chrome browser extension that:
- Extracts timetable data from ManageBac websites
- Converts this data into calendar events
- Syncs these events to your Google Calendar
- Operates entirely on your local device without external data storage
User Responsibilities
By using the Extension, you agree to:
- Use the Extension only for its intended purpose of syncing your personal timetable
- Ensure you have proper access rights to the ManageBac data you are syncing
- Comply with your institution's policies regarding data usage
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the Extension
- Report any bugs or issues through appropriate channels (GitHub issues)
Google Account Integration
The Extension requires access to your Google Calendar to function. By authorizing this access, you:
- Grant the Extension permission to create calendar events on your behalf
- Acknowledge that calendar events will be created based on the timetable data extracted
- Can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings
Limitations and Disclaimers
The Extension is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee:
- 100% accuracy of timetable data extraction
- Continuous availability of the service
- Compatibility with all ManageBac website versions
- That the Extension will meet your specific requirements
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alikhan Abdykaimov and the Extension developers shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, missed appointments, or scheduling conflicts
- Any issues arising from incorrect timetable synchronization
- Problems caused by changes to ManageBac or Google Calendar systems
Privacy and Data
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how the Extension handles your information. Key points:
